Fall? Already?

Where did the summer go? I didn't even put the screens on my porch doors yet. I guess it's too late now.
Welcome to the Fall session of Not Your Father's Internet. There are some links to the right that we will be exploring as well as looking into all those mysteries of the internet that everyone else seems to know about! Don't worry. It's painless...and I have chocolate.
Now...let's begin...

Busy, Busy Class

The Spring OLLI Not Your Father's Internet class busy at work downloading and installing Picasa.

Welcome to Spring OLLI!

This is a picture of the entrance to the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona. What looks like sparkling green cacti are in fact shimmering glass sculptures by artist Dale Chihuly. As spectacular as these cacti were, the gardens were full of equally dramatic and beautiful succulents and cactus and wildflowers blooming and growing in the middle of the desert.
You can click on the link above to check out the Garden's website. This blog will begin blooming with more links to wonderful places as we move through our course - so if you'd like to contribute one or more - please feel free!
See you on Friday!
